Toner Craft Leather bags are made from upcycled leather - rescued from couches, car seat and factory offcuts. Made by hand in the foothills of the Blackstairs Mountains, near Myshall in County Carlow.
Handmade by Niall Toner. Niall began making Leather clothing in 1967 in Dublin, and became established as a designer and supplier of quality Leather garments. In 1997, due to pressure from cheap imports, he ceased trading, and went full-time into the Music and Entertainment business, including presenting Roots Freeway and Country Heartland on RTE Radio One for 26 years. When Covid put an end to the Music Business, Niall turned back to his old skill as a Leather Tailor and commenced designing and making satchels, shoulder bags and guitar straps, using upcycled Leather
Leather is a natural product, and as such, colours and textures can vary from piece to piece, and can also bear scratch marks and signs of wear and tear.

Shipping Rates
Shipping rates vary from item to item depending on weight, size and destination. See individual item for shipping rates that apply.
Customs and import taxes:
International orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by your country’s customs department upon arrival. You will be informed and billed by the courier on delivery if this applies. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for these costs or any delays due to customs.
Shipping Terms
Items are generally shipped within 1-5 business days of purchase. This can vary depending on the seller stated timeframe and the item ordered – ie: for items that are made to order. This information will be specified on individual items and applicable processing and shipping terms will be advised. Products are shipped directly from the seller and so therefore if you have purchased more than one item and they are from different sellers, then they will arrive separately. The expected dispatch times for each can be found on the product pages. For details, see individual items.
Processing time:
The time needed to prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see individual items. For commissioned pieces please allow min 4-6 weeks from time payment has been received until item is shipped – or time alternatively advised for your specific order as these vary depending on the design and work required. For details, see individual items.
Upcycling process:
Due to the nature of upcycling reclaimed materials and also the fact that our products are made individually by hand – each product is therefore unique and carries character from it’s adventurous past. We feel this adds a little something special. This means that no two items will be exactly the same and many items will carry features from it’s past like marks and patterns, prints and numbers. This also means materials may vary in colours and shades and may have some fading or wear. This does not effect the quality. Real colour of products may vary slightly from the images used and due to differences in screens and monitors.
Limited collections:
Due to the nature of upcycling and availability of materials, many of our products and designs will be one-off pieces or limited editions.

Refund Policy
Our Return Policy is 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Please note the below in order to be eligible for a return:
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery. Should you note a fault with your product upon delivery, this must be flagged to us within 24 hours of receiving it. We will then notify the maker. The item is to be returned directly to them and upon satisfactory receipt of such, a replacement or refund will be issued.
Conditions of return:
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. Items must only be returned in their original condition. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Once item is returned, inspected and is received back in its original condition, a refund will be processed.
Exchanges:
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon delivery and reported to us within 24 hours of receipt.
Repair Policy:
If you’ve purchased a product from us and over time things have gone south for it – like it does the best of us! Don't worry! In order to extend the life of our products - we offer a free of charge repair service - where possible - for products that have broken or worn over time. The item should be returned to the the original maker who will do their best to mend it to how it was - but sadly not all things are repairable. Once the item is received, it will be assessed. If it is the case that it is un-repairable, we will offer you a 10% discount instead on a new purchase from one of The Upcycle Movement products. And rest assured that we will upcycle the parts of your old purchase into something new again to keep it’s cycle going and keep it out of landfill.
